PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION: PERSPECTIVES ON THE PROCESS
March 10-11, 2011
A basic two-day seminar for persons who have little or no experience or formal training in performing pre-employment, background investigations. The seminar will focus on background investigations within law enforcement, security, or government organizations. Topics include: (1) importance of the pre-employment background investigation; (2) what may or may not be asked during an investigation; (3) federal laws relating to employment of the handicapped; (4) various resources that may be used during the course of an investigation; (5) pre-employment interview techniques; and (6) various tests that can be used in background investigations. Program will be conducted March 10-11, 2011 at the Lancaster Police Department, 405 East Arch Street, Lancaster, South Carolina. Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each program day.

FEE: $295 per person.
